What to expect?

The counselling process begins with an initial assessment, where you and I will discuss your concerns and goals. Subsequent sessions focus on exploring these issues in depth, developing insights, and implementing strategies for change. Progress is regularly reviewed, and the approach is adjusted as needed to ensure that you are supported effectively.

I currently offer one-to-one online and telephone counselling. Individual counselling offers a supportive and empowering path to self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.

What is individual counselling?

Individual counselling is a personalised and confidential therapeutic service where clients work one-on-one with a counsellor to address a variety of personal issues and challenges. The primary goal of individual counselling is to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves, resolve personal problems, and enhance their emotional well-being.

Sessions last for 50 minutes.
The number of sessions required varies based on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some people may find relief in a few sessions, while others may need longer-term therapy. I offer open-ended sessions.
In the first session, the counsellor will usually gather background information, discuss the reasons for seeking counselling, and establish goals for therapy. It is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions and get comfortable with the process.
